The Peak District is loved by walkers, climbers and cyclists from all around the world. Hit the heights and enjoy the views from some of the country’s most famous hills, climb the famous gritstone edges of Stanage, Bamford and Curbar, enjoy a picnic in the gentler, rolling landscapes of the Derbyshire Dales, or hit the road on one of the Peak District’s famous cycling routes. Fresh air, breathtaking views and all within easy reach of Rowlands Farm.

Places to Visit

There are countless fascinating places to visit in the Peak District, most less than 40 minutes’ drive from Rowlands Farm. From the historic village of Castleton with its caves and castle, just over the other side of Mam Tor, to the beautiful Derwent Reservoirs and the jaw-dropping Chatsworth Estate only a little further afield. Then there’s Haddon Hall, Lyme Park, the historic village of Eyam, Bakewell, the National Trust Estate at Longshaw… the list goes on and on.

There are a huge number of pubs, cafés and tea rooms even within a five-mile radius of Rowlands Farm, let alone throughout the whole Peak District! From delicious pub grub using lots of local produce, to wonderful picnic supplies from local shops, to hidden gems off the beaten track to Michelin-starred fine dining, we can provide loads of suggestions for great places to eat close to Rowlands Farm.
